kids menu
It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside under a big shady tree & soon had menus & cold water on the table.
hook, line & sinker
The kids menu has fun names & are coloured for how healthy they are. Great that a lot of the options had vegies or salad. All kids meals are $9.90
Lord of the calamari rings
Was great to try a few different kids meals. The best was probably the pizza as it was a nice base with ham & pineapple topping. The grilled fish was good too. Calamari was tender but very thick batter. Chips are always a hit & these were crunchy but not greasy.
Pirates treasure
Como plate $27
My Mum & I shared the Como plate. It was huge and very tasty. My favourite was the prawns. Great feta too. Plenty for 2 especially when you are 'helping' your kids with their chips.
Steak & prawns $25
My husband got the Wednesday special 'threesome' of steak + prawns + a beer. He enjoyed it though said the sauce was a little too oily.
Kids packs
The kids packs were fantastic! A pencil case containing crayons, colouring sheet, bouncy ball, balloon, tattoos and snakes & ladders game. Will surely keep kids happy until food arrives.
Some of the contents
The service was very friendly & helpful.
There is a change table in the disabled bathroom.
I think next time I will choose the kids meals as I think they partly went by the funny meal names. The sausage & veg sounds good as does the chicken kebabs, I know they would love both.
We will be back. Great location, reasonable prices & family friendly, it is also in the Entertainment Book.
