Sidney loves Audrey is a new cafe/shop in a weird spot along Fitzgerald street near Vincent Street kind of in between a Gull servo and KFC. I hope it's very successful for them as it's on my drive back from the city, around the corner from Hyde Park and they make yummy cake! People might not realise but you can park right in front of their door out of peak hour times.
Kids table
If you have kids that like to run around touching things this might not be the place but if they like to sit & draw it's perfect with a kids table that has a chalkboard and big roll of butchers paper!
decisions
Everything is baked on the premises and while there it smelt great with what was coming out of the oven.
cold drinks
juice with paper straw
...plain apple juice! I wanted mango & peach!
gluten free orange syrup cake with yoghurt
M also chose the cake (I wanted brownies, think my child is trying to make me healthy!)
organic hot chocolate
My hot chocolate was so good! Was nice to sip it slowly while the girls sat drawing.
It's not just about food there are many gorgeous, unique items. I adored the little ceramic dinner set (2 pictures below) & the cute tea set above.Next time I need a special gift for the person that has everything I know where to come!
bunny to watch over you while you eat & drink
Service was friendly & quick. The atmosphere is warm & inviting like you are in a friends home, you hardly notice the traffic going by.
At the moment it is mostly just drinks & cakes.
If you are heading to/from Hyde Park or the city to northern suburbs drop in!
