Let's go back to the start....
I had a Bubbler deal for High Tea and as it was such a bargain I bought 4 of them. It was coming to a close and I had organised to take my Mum and Nan along but when I rang up to book they were booked out for the day I wanted to booked the only spot they had left on the Thursday and rounded up some Mummy friends.
High tea is available Tuesday to Friday from 10am - 2pm for $25 per person. You must book at least 48 hours in advance. It is child friendly with 2 highchairs available, a small table inside for kids that has colouring in and books and a small table outside for little ones to sit at. All the food is made on the premises. They use free range eggs, have Tea Tonic teas, Yahava coffee and a range of vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options.
Chances are if you do the high tea you won't get the same as what we got as it changes daily. You can check out their Facebook page to see what's cooking at the moment.
Now to a run down on some of the foods we had. I didn't get to try any of the sandwiches as I am pregnant so I probably should've mentioned it to them. Sandwiches consisted of brie with avocado, ham, brie and chilli onion jam, smoked salmon and cucumber, date and cream cheese. The hot food (pictured below) had some tasty little bacon, walnut and maple syrup tarts and a yummy pumpkin and rosemary baked ricotta and finally the sweets plate had scones with strawberry jam and cream, raspberry and vanilla cupcake and a caramel slice that the kids wolfed down. I had the Yahava coffee which hit the spot and my friends liked their English Breakfast tea.
After we had finished we headed to a nearby park to work it off and about an hour after getting home it was pouring down so perfect timing for the kids to go to bed!
'Pear'fect Pantry is located at 49 Herdsman Parade and if you'd like to book the high tea their number is 92841710. It might seem an odd location being next to a huge block of units and behind a laudromat but once you are sipping on a Yahava coffee and looking at the food display you will soon forget where you are.
