Being pregnant and low in iron I have been craving meat! So what better place to head to dinner than Outback Jacks for dinner. There are 4 locations in Perth being Whitfords City, Rockingham, Fremantle and Northbridge. We went to the Whitfords one.
Being early on a weeknight they weren't using the upstairs area where the kids room is located so we were shown a table at the bottom and as soon as we were seated they handed the girls their menu/colouring in book and a cup of crayons so they were happy as you can see C tipping the whole lot out above.
We chose quickly and I took the 2 bigger girls next door to Timezone to have a look and they had a run on the big grass area out the front before we came back dinner was ready!
We only ordered 2 kids meals as they are HUGE! J wanted sausage and chips (pictured 2 above) and M loves chops so we got her the ribs and chips (above). The ribs got a little messy but she had a great time and they were very tasty. The sausage too was gone quickly but between the 3 of them they couldn't get through all the chips. There is currently a special where kids eat for three ($3) Sunday to Thursday even if there is no adult meal being ordered.
My husband of course had to go for a steak which came with a massive amount of salad and chips. He wished he had added a sauce to it though. Steaks range in price from $27.95 up to $49.95. I was boring and went with the Angus Bush Burger (pictured above) $17.50 which was delicious and juicy. I really liked the caramelised onion. Would love to try the Wagyu burger $26.50. We also couldn't finish all our chips and here I was thinking that I could do the Jacks Challenge!
The staff were very friendly and quick service. There is plenty of parking below the restaurant area there.
It was a great night out and I got the iron fix I needed. It can get quite expensive with steaks but if you can convince your partner he needs a burger and with the $3 kids meals it's very reasonable for the amount of food you get.
